TORONTO, WE LOVE YOU.
Since 2007, we’ve made it our mission to cultivate multi-disciplinary artistic and professional development for young people and artists across mediums, through our festival and other programs and initiatives. To build careers, foster community connections and fuel civic pride – all while contributing to the vitality of this city we love and the artists who make it great.
It’s been an incredible journey, and we’ve been so blessed to be able to have an impact in offering much needed and well-deserved support to the incredible talent in this city and this country. That includes artists of all stripes and at all stages of their careers, community leaders and activists, young entrepreneurs and designers, volunteers, photographers and videographers, disruptors, upsetters, revolutionaries – we’ve tried to create something that can benefit everyone. Through experience. Through exposure. Through connection with new networks and new audiences.
It hasn’t been easy, and we still have a long way to go. We’re grateful that our opportunities are bigger than our challenges, but as we’ve grown, they’ve both grown with us. So they’re both pretty big.
So we need all the support we can get. If you believe in what Manifesto has and can continue to do for youth arts and culture, if you believe the work we do has a positive impact for the young lives it inspires and empowers and the social and economic fabric it helps to weave – please support however you can. Every little bit counts. If everyone who’s ever experienced a Manifesto event or program since we started (around 400,000 people) gave just $5 – we’d be sustainably funded for the next 5+ years. Or if you can’t donate, no stress, help spread the word, or share what Manifesto has meant for you.
Much love, respect and gratitude to every single person who has been a part of making the idea of Manifesto a reality – the team, the artists, the partners, the participants. It couldn’t have happened without all of you.
With respect and gratitude,
